Pasting your list
Paste YouTube links one per line or separated by commas; bare 11-character video IDs work too. Lines that aren’t YouTube links are ignored. Free use handles 3 videos per batch, and a Pro account handles up to 30. Each video is fetched separately, so one video without captions doesn’t stop the others. Only the videos that succeeded are included in your download.
Export options
- Formats: plain text, text with timestamps, SRT subtitles, WebVTT subtitles, or JSON.
- One combined file: all transcripts in one document, each under its video title. Good for reading a series or giving an AI assistant several videos at once.
- ZIP archive: a separate file per video, named after each title. Good for subtitle work or filing lectures individually.
- Copy all: puts the combined text on your clipboard without downloading anything.
Batch vs. playlist
Use Batch when your videos come from different channels or playlists and you already have the links. Use the Playlist tool when the videos are already grouped in a YouTube playlist, so you don’t have to collect the links yourself. Developers who need more than a batch at a time can use the REST API.
